Rebecca Clarke's Trio for Violin, Cello, and Piano

In 1921, a young woman named Rebecca Clarke submitted a new trio to the Berkshire Music Festival under the pseudonym "Anthony Trent." It was met with rave reviews and would have been given first prize had the judges not discovered that Trent was a in reality a woman. Clarke's Piano Trio represents triumph over adversity, and we are proud to give it the attention it deserves.
